Growing up in and around the business as a third-generation Seattle-area broker, my real estate practice began long before I chose to make it my profession. My grandmother Georgia was a top-performing broker in Seattle in the 70s and 80s. My father, Pat Grimm, is the designated broker and leader of Windermere Capitol Hill. I was answering weekend calls at the brokerage by age nine, and the business was simply part of our family's dinner table talk over the years. Real estate isn't something I stumbled into, it's something I've been surrounded by my entire life, and that shapes everything about how I work.

Seattle isn't just where I work, it's where I'm from. I grew up in Capitol Hill and have spent my whole life getting to know this city, neighborhood by neighborhood. I love that you can be on a ski slope within 45 minutes, paddleboarding after work, or on a ferry to somewhere new by the weekend. On the ground, that looks like volunteering with the Low-Income Housing Institute's Tiny Home Builds in SODO, the Lowell School in Capitol Hill, and the Washington Trails Association. I also contribute a portion of every sale to the Windermere Foundation, which has raised more than $56 million supporting low-income and homeless families across the Pacific Northwest.
